As for the past negative comments i believe they are possibly the ones when the complex was being built and starting to be established, so there obviously going to be problems when starting a company, you live and learn and improve. If you new and looking to move into this complex look at the new 2007 comments.
I moved in to Madison at Spring Oaks 3months ago after a horrible experience with dominion complexes, this place is a luxury. It's a little pricey but its worth it. As go for the gates, if the management and complex owners could activate them they would its Henrico fire who don't allow them cause its a "fire safety issue cause the complex is so big" There is like over 500 apartments here. The management staff is very friendly you get your occasionally bitchy ones, but you deal with it. The apartment it's self is very nice, I live on the 3rd floor and I don't hear a thing, but I do hear occasionally the dogs barking when your outside the hallway. Maintenance they come and go, I put request in several times they came checked out the place and basically didn't do what i told them was broke. The pool area is great for parties and just even for family time. Only thing I must complain about is the mailbox,trash, and hallways. The mailboxes are bit far from your building so you gotta travel to go to it, same with the trash disposal you gotta bag your garbage up put it in your car and drop it off. The hallways entering the apartment our pretty dirty with bugs at night they could use a good power wash. Other than all of that, I can't complain.
