I've lived here for two years now and swore this summer would be me last one here based on the horrible experience I had last summer! I live by the pool and it was just awful-there were people in the pool at all hours naked and partying. I was NOT warned about this before I moved in, and whenever I called to complain I felt like I was getting the brush off. Nobody seemed to care and I'm positive I wasn't the only one complaining about it. My lease is due to run out next month but thanks to the change in staff I've decided to stay a bit longer. It seems we finally have a staff that cares about complaints! The hours of the pool that is supposed to close at 9:00 are finally being enforced! It's nice and quiet now most nights. They started a pass system that seems to be cutting down on the number of people who don't live here coming to the pool. It used to be that I couldnt find a chair on the weekend, now it's not a problem anymore. I'm glad to see improvement as I really love my apartment and there aren't a lot of places that will take a big dog. I have a 75 pound mutt that I couldn't live without.
As I said it's getting better and a number of other things are improving too. They just installed a HUGE dog park. Seriously, it may be the biggest I've seen in an apartment complex. They also put in a lot more dog stations, so the dog poop situation has gotten a lot better too.
There are still some issues--people drive too fast in the parking lot. Speed bumps almost seem necessary. And the gates still don't work. They haven't as long as I've lived here and other people told me they never have. I've been told by the staff that they are working on it but we'll see. It's not like I don't feel safe here, but it would be nice to actually have them working.
The apartment itself is great. I live in a two bedroom and the bedrooms and patio are huge. The dining room and kitchen are a little small, but it's just me and the dog so I don't care much.
Bottom line is I wouldn't have recommended this place last year but I do now.

I was probably one of those naked partiers at the pool and moved out because they started enforcing the rules...my apologies that my 21st birthday party might have ruined your experience!
