Unimpressive for the price.

My fiance and I moved here in early 2006. We are moving out this year due to a lot of factors:
- The management is terrible. They are never in the office, and don't return your calls. Half of the time they close the rental office a half-hour to an hour early, and if you have packages waiting for you and you work during the week, don't expect to be able to get them until the weekend.
- The apartments themselves are entirely too small for the price they are asking. We are currently in a one-bedroom, one bath, and paying $710/mnth with pet fees for a little less than 550 sq. ft. It looks a lot larger without furniture, so keep that in mind. We were sorely disappointed once we actually moved in and realized how small our living space actually was.
- The walls are paper-thin. Thankfully we live on the second floor, but we can still hear our neighbors downstairs, whether they are simply carrying on a conversation, watching TV or walking around. I can't even begin to describe the nightmare when they start playing music.
- Everything breaks. From the stove, to the kitchen lights, to the thermostat. The only thing we haven't had an issue with are the washer and dryer. Small favors.
The only plus to this community is the west end location. All-in-all, our stay wasn't terrible, but we're looking forward to moving out and getting a better bang for our buck. Strictly-put, these apartments are far too small for the money that they are asking.

Are we talking about the same complex? Whenever I called they either answered or I had to leave a message and they would return my call within 24 hours. I will agree the new management company is a little lackluster but the office staff was very friendly. I always had packages held at the office and was able to get them anytime during office hours. I lived there for 2 years and think of only 2 times when the leasing office closed early and there was a sign posted saying why. My 2 bedroom/2 bath was very spacious.

I agree. I have lived here going on three years and have never had a problem. I have always had them answer my calls and have always been able to get my packages. I have never seen them leave the office early (and I always got there right at closing time). I enjoy this neighborhood. I do agree it's a little pricey for the size but it is a safe and comfortable west end location. I also lived on the top floor and never heard my neighbors unless they were yelling outside or blasting music.
