I have lived in Match Point apartments for almost 2 years now, as my wife and I moved in 5\25\06. We have not had any issues with safety however if there ever was there would be a problem, as their security guard that they say patrols the complex after dark is never there. The apartments themselves are extremely old and outdated. We were told when we moved in that we had new carpet and new tile in the bathroom. Unfortunately that is not the case. The first week of living there we noticed many stains in the carpet in the living room and dining room area. Also the supposedly new tile in the bathroom was not new at all. It was an old tan\orange color that was painted over with white spray paint. The paint has been flaking off of the tile now for almost the entire time we have lived there. We informed the leasing office and matenence came out and spray painted over it again. They didn't even use the same color paint!!! now I have white and tan tile which looks horrible. Ontop of that its starting to flake off once again. Just recently we also put a request into matenence that our AC unit was not functioning properly, as we could turn it down to 60F and let it run for hours on end and it would NEVER blow out actual cold air. In the spring and summer time we are lucky to keep the apartment below 80F. I currently pay approximately $130 a month for my electric bill to cool and power my appliances which is insane! I could cool an entire 2 story house for that or less!!!. Not only that we just recently noticed that the entire top portion of our hot water heater had rusted out. The rust had eaten through approximately 1 1\2" of the metal on the top around the fittings. We called the leasing office and matenence finally came out to address the problem after 3wks. And what did they do to fix it'!'! they put TAPE over the rust holes!. I currently pay $675 a month for this apartment and its not worth even close to that! Also my wife and I have a 2yr old child and we have to call the leasing office, security guard and sometimes police on a regular basis to come out and address very late night sound disturbances. If you don't mind your walls shaking because of bass late nights then don't worry about this, however our child cannot sleep. As said by other people the parking is ridiculous. They have parking stickers but never enforce parking. Most of the spots near our building are always occupied be people who don't even live there! Our lease is currently up for renewal and there is no way in HELL we are going to stay. We are out of there as fast as we can relocate to something better.

i totally agree with everything!iv lived here for 3 years because of the price, and i cant take it anymore.my paint is peeling,my hot water heater has been bandaged 2x,my ac wwent out 2 years ago in the dead of summer when i had a 4 month old, and they took 3 days to fix it.we sweated through 101 weather.i can now feel the cold breeze coming in from my sliding door and the walls also seem to breathe.they are soooooooo cold to the touch.my light bill is 130-150/mo.my car has been towed wrongfully and others leave their cars unattended in the wrong parking spots for months with nothing!my electric outlets only work half the time.the came and fixed them, and that worked for a few days.my cabinets are falling off the hinges, they have come to fix them 2x and they still hang.my dishwasher falls out of the area it is suposed to sit in because there is no suport.and i think the mice should have to pay rent also, because they have many more entrances they can use to come and go as they please.i cant board up all the holes w/out having to do construction work.
