I have lived at Morningside a year now, and have just signed my lease renewel for another year.
I was suprised to read of these negative ratings.
I have had nothing but positive exeriences with the office staff, having found them friendly, inviting and more than willing to assist with my needs.
I have only needed to request service to my apartment once. And this request was taken care of in a timely and efficient manner.
I have found the neighbors around me to be courtious, friendly and "neighborly".
There is a security agency that patrols the area. The one experience I have had with them was met with somewhat mixed feelings. My daughter had a guest over visiting, they were sitting in a car right outside my apartment door, talking and listening to music (not loud, could not be heard by me in the apartment). The security person approached them, asked a few questions and stated he had just observed them sitting there for awhile. This somewhat bothered me at first, that my daughter sitting outside our residence would be questioned. But it was also good to know that persons sitting in a parked care was noticied and checked out.
To sum it up - I am very pleased with my apartment and enjoy living in the community.

i agree with you. i just moved from there only because i got a job out of the state. man i wish i could have taken my townhome with me. i never had no real big issues. im so glad that i didn't read these reviews before i moved here cause i would have missed out on a good place to stay in southside richmond.
