Okay where to begin... First off I have had a leaky ceiling for the entire time that I have been here; a total of 9 months now. I now have holes in my wall because of a broken pipe and they have not fixed that yet. It has been about two months despite constant calls from us asking when it will be fixed. They always say "Oh, well get that fixed" and they never fix the problem. The garbage disposal and bathroom sink don't work well; the sink is clogged and despite using products to rectify it, it still drains very slowly. As for the other tenants, this place is a party place. Roaring idiots at three AM running down the hallways screaming, loud music blaring on weekends, obvious drug usage by some tenants and of course the people down the street in the small houses are just as bad. The place usually has trash in the elevators and once in a while the hallways reek. Supposedly there are no pets here, however, tenants have cats and dogs anyway and nothing is done about it. I have even seen dog droppings in the underground garage. Also you can hear a lot going on in the apartments next to you, not very private at all. And finally the price is ridiculous even if all utilities are included. Oh don t forget the $75 parking fee.

yes. there are some issues with rowdy tenants. this building is located less than 1 block from the VCU campus and 2 blocks from a local watering hole. it's full of college students. if there are any late night disturbances, we, as residents - are encouraged to call our landlord or the richmond pd. they have responded to my calls promptly and without hesitation when i've reported noise disturbances, especially drunken rampages in the parking lot. trash in the elevators has not been observed during my 3 year tenancy. the block behind this apartment building is a source of much of the drunken mischief, and is no fault of the apartment building tenants. there are cats and dogs, and if you have a complaint, i'm sure charles - the landlord - would be more than willing to address the issue with you. leave a message, he will call you back. yeah, i've had dog poo on my shoe from the front grass, but there is only so much grass in richmond. it's expensive but safe. parking is an additional fee but you don't have to worry about finding a spot or vandalism as all of the lots are monitored by video camera. the maintenance problems you had are very rare - i am surprised to hear that. usually our maintenance man, jerry, is very attentive to these things. perhaps a visit down to hb&a would have resolved these problems. this "review" is not characteristic of this building at all.
