Beautiful stainless steel fixtures and cabinetry.

Nice wood floors...

A fresh, contemporary modern look to these urban loft apartments that sit adjacent to a cafe and art gallery/studios.

Location- About a 1/2 mile from Shockhoe Slip/Shockhoe Bottom

Bang for the buck- Most square footage and nicest apartments for the money.

Nice, friendly leasing agent. Very sweet girl. Seems as though she doesn't get a lot of support from the firm that she works for though.

Now, for the problems....

Noisy. Can hear everything that's going on above or below you. That's a sign of shoddy construction work.

There's construction underway (in the entire area) about 25-50 feet from the building. Better get used to chainsaws, jackhammers, construction workers yapping away, hammering, drilling, nailing, etc...at 7 in the morning.

***Totally unreliable wireless internet service***. This is a big one...if you need constant, "always on" reliable, dependable internet access...then I suggest RUNNING as far away from this place as possible. This has been an ongoing, UNRESOLVED issue that is a MAJOR point of contention with ALL of the building's residents. The management uses this as selling point, but be aware....they have a contract with a small, local provider which prohibits you from going out and paying for your own connection!!!! This is something that everyone should be made aware of before moving in....even if you wanted to pay for your own high speed connmection (and I was!)no one services this building....not Comcast, not Cavalier, not Verizon... NO ONE! Once you're in...you are STUCK with horrendous, atrocious piss-poor internet access. Remember, internet is the ONLY thing you get included in your rent....the damned thing should work as advertised.

Below average maintenance staff. Issues are not addressed in a timely manner. Staff shows up when it's convenient for THEM and does not take into consideration others schedules.

Sky high heating/cooling bills due to archaic windows. Expect $150-175 bills due to windows that aren't sealed and do not fully close.
