I lived at 201 West Broad Street, President's Walk runs along broad street and is above storefronts and what not. I really enjoyed living here and would have stayed but couldn't find a room mate when mine decided to move out. It is well worth the price for it's size. It was within walking distance of VCU Campus but far enough away from College part central. We did have to pay to use a laundry facility (coin operated) but we had free parking in a parking lot adjacent to our building and secured access which always worked. The maintenance staff was always on time and very helpful, they even came and helped the Comcast guy hook up our internet. The only downside to our building was that on occasion the elevator was being serviced and you had to take the stairs, but in any case we were always notified previously. Most of my neighbors were good, we only had one bad neighbor. We did however suffer from the noise on Broad Street- but because we were the building in front of the Police station on Grace Street we would simply call the non emergency number and the noise was always taken care of in no time. The Office staff was also very generous with us, they gave us until 12 midnight to move out eventhough we were supposed to be out by noon and gave us all but $25 of our deposit back eventhough we certainly didn't leave our apartment as nice as we found it because our move out was so last minute.I really miss living here.
