I have lived at Quarter Mill for a year and I am happy to leave. I understand i live in an apartment and its not perfect. You get what you pay for. The only real complaint i have is the maintanence. The first night i was there my toilet was clogged and overflowed...flooding my bathroom. To put it nicely, it was distgusting. It was a Friday night, so i called the after hours # and the maintenence man told me it wasnt an emergancy and it would have to wait until Monday. It is clearly stated in my lease otherwise. It was fixed on Monday, but i was highly inconvienienced and the smell took a week to go away. Since then there has been something wrong at least once a month and the maintenence man always has an attitude when i ask for it to be fixed. I know how to fix a leaky foucet and unclogg my drains...but when my dishwasher is flooding my kitchen or my AC doesnt work in 90 degree weather...I feel it is his job to help me out. I can deal with noisy naeighbors, parking rules, and lazy office staff. But when my house is always falling apart and i have to pull teeth to get things fixed, I feel I have the right to complain.
I reffered my friend because shes young and its her first place. But if you are looking for a good place to live and maybe even stay for a while, I would NOT suggest this place. It is only good for young people who just need a place to start off or people with low income and a low expectation!
