It took 3 weeks to get a key to my mailbox and all my bills were late because if it.
Before I moved in, somone kicked in my door, and the deadbolt can be opened from outside with a screwdriver.
Definite prejudice against white people by office personnel.
Management is dishonest, bullying, and each person tells you something different in answer to the same question.
I've waited for over an hour to speak to someone, then been told to leave and make an appointment for 3 days later, and when I do, they're not there.
Dumpsters are overflowing within one day of being emptied. It's necessary to walk through garbage to put garbage ontop of garbage that won't fit into the Dumpster.
They charge for water every month but there are two water meters for the ENTIRE COMPLEX so there's no way they can charge fairly. You WILL be charged even if you haven't used any water at all.
Broken glass on sidewalks and in parking spaces remains there indefinitely, some lying under OLD leaves.
Vacant units have broken sliding glass doors that children play with and stick their heads through the holes. Many vacant units' doors are unlocked and open.
Their billing system is totally screwed up and they don't open their mail, so be careful if you mail your rent check in. They'd love to make you pay the $40 late fee.
They fired the policeman who used to patrol the grounds. We have no extra security anymore.
The pool is an amenity, which means it's added to the cost of the rent every month. The pool is supposed to open on Memorial Day and close on Labor Day. The pool is unattended by any personnel, so people from outside the complex swim there. Frequently people with bleeding injuries or nosebleeds swim and walk around the pool area. Teenagers run rampant, yell obscenities, fight, throw dangerous objects.
Emergency maintenance' Forget it. Your unit can be flooding and they wouldn't respond for two days.
Back to the staff: it's not a stretch to say they act like Nazis.
The people who live here pay their salaries, but they treat everyone like dirt, like they're doing US a favor.
If you are suicidal but haven't quite been able to go through with it, move here, because it will drive you over the edge.
It is a real shame that people who need affordable housing have to be treated as if they're not even human beings.
We are the customers! Yet we have no rights.
Will somebody, anybody, anwhere, help us'

I agree with most of this not all. The mailbox issue you are suppose to get your key from the post office not the rental office. The 40 dollar fee is true. There billing system is jacked up.

How dare you say something like "if youre suicidal but haven't been able to go through with it, move here, because it will drive you over the edge" You are sick, and obviously have no respect for people. No wonder management didn't want to speak with you.
