Beautiful Apartments, but little else. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/8/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   The apartments themselves are beautiful and worth every penny. Unfortunately, they are not very well made and I have had trouble with several things. The management office staff is horrible, has been unresponsive to maintenance issues, and is arrogant to say the least. I have lived in NYC and don't mind paying a premium price, but I expect to be treated like a premium tennant, not to have my staff act like premium staff and treat me like a nobody. I guess they don't expect Christmas tips like in other big cities. The gym is great, and for a one-time fee of $150, you can't beat the price. However, they have yet to fix the system that broadcasts the TV audio so you can listen to it on your headphones.... you are now at the mercy of whoever is in their first and could be subjected to loud SpongBob for your entire workout. Oh, and if your rent is not in their office by 5:00 on the last business day of the month, they put a slip of paper in front of your door on the floor for everyone to see... it is quite nice to see the hallway littered with that. Maybe they could try the mailboxes'
