I have been living in my loft at the riverlofts since november of 2003 The space is cool on the surface and when your checking out the place they pretty much roll out the red carpet. Once you sign, you go to the back of the bus. Whats odd is they smile at you while they're saying its not their problem. Nice, very nice! I have had 4 water leaks in my unit to date. 2 of them severe. Now there are issues with insurance coverage. Nothing damaged yet except a valuable persian rug in the bathroom was soaked and left to dry that way over 2 days and when asked to clean it, they requested that I do it myself. The office staff is matter of fact and rude. I run a company and if these ladies talked to one of our clients like they talk to me, they'd be looking for a new job. Trust me there are plenty of places to live in the area, dont make the same mistakes I did, find a better place. These places are expensive and nothing short of a hassle since I moved in. oh yeah, and there is a heating problem as well.

Very true. Some of these ladies running these places and a specific realtor company in Midlothian, VA are awful people. Luckily good and evil was recently balanced out for me with an exceptional realtor in the west end who has morals and is a good person. I say what goes around comes around, we'll suffer but in the end only kindness matters.
