Don't let them fool you!

I moved into The Cameron Building one month ago. At first glance this place seems amazing, it's a great area, the buildings look clean and well kept, and the pool and hot tub appear to work but don't be fooled. Initially I was told that the carpet in my apartment would be replaced before we moved in, it wasn't and we weren't told until the Sunday we signed the lease. After 2 weeks of complaining, maintenance finally "cleaned" our carpets, they are still dirty and stained. My socks turn brown from walking around the apartment. During week 3 our ac went out. Maintenance came and didn't fix it, instead they put a ghetto window unit in our living room. The apartment is still 80 degrees. This brings me to week 4, the ceiling is leaking. My room is soaked! Pictures and books ruined, a wet laptop, and furniture damaged. I am absolutely appalled with what this "luxurious" apartment complex has offered. On top of all of these problems, management is unfriendly and the people I ve had to deal with can t even speak proper English. Leasing is deceptive, they seem helpful and friendly but they re really just covering up for a bad management, awful properties, and maintenance workers who can t even put my closet door back on track.
