I admit, I have not been responsible when it comes to making good choices regarding my credit. This is a lesson for all parents to teach their children. Please DO NOT move here if you have other options. The leasing staff is pleasant to speak with now, but they have no control over what MAINTENANCE does. After a while when you keep calling them (LEASING) to complain, they begin to lie to you because they don;t know what else to do. You can try complaining to the head office, but they could care less, today they placed me on hold and probably went to lunch. I lived in a 2Br and had little to no maintenance issues. Because the stove broke down the first day I moved in, I got a new one (apparently I was lucky). I lived in that apartment for 2 years. My neighbors were great and I lived in a quite area of Rollingwood although the police stay out there all of the time. Since the baby came in August, and I am not yet at a point were I can purchase a home (even at a high interest rate), I transfered to a 3 bedroom which I am trying to complete a 2 year bid in. I use the term bid because I may never let my children outside to play.

The front door lock on the "new" 3BR apartment did not lock. There was trash still left in the cabinets and kitchen drawers, one of which had a gapping hole in it that they patched up by covering it with a piece of plywood and painted over it. The dishwasher does not work (there is no water), the tile floors that were put down was torn when maintenace moved the refrigerator and they did a poor patch job. the faucets to the bathroom tub were rotting and falling off, so much so that when the shower was on, the water shot out of the seal (or missing seal) where the faucet and the tub's tile met. The heat worked, but the thermostate was off. We have to turn it up to 85 to heat at 71 degrees. So far there are no live roaches though, and I only saw one dead one when we moved the stove (which by the way wasn't cleaned so we swapped it with the stove that was in my old apartment which was... we had maintenance move the refrigerator from our old place too since it was like new).

Your move in sheet report is a joke, because they still have not been back and when they sent someone out, he acted like he was not qualified to do anything and the things he did repair, he did a 1/2 job. So I say again, if you have somewhere else to go, do yourself a favor and go there. If not, I hope you like watching episodes of the home improvement shows, you are going to need it...
