I have been living in Seven Gables for 4 years, and at first it was fine. The apartments do come with a washer and dryer and rent is affordable. More recently I have decided that paying higher rent will be worth it to get out of here. Maintenance does NOT fix anything unless you hound the rental office all day for about a week. My oven has not worked in 6 months and I have notified maintenance several times. They have done nothing about it. A lot of the people there are ghetto and loud. Also I have had to call the cops because of noise and people putting a basketball hoop up in the middle of the parking lot!!! They were out there playing, cursing, and yelling up until 1 in the morning, and hitting people's cars with the basketball! I called the rental office about this at least 16 times and they kept saying they would take the hoop down. Did they' NO! Finally I called the office again and complained and had the phone slammed in my face!! Do not bother moving here, no matter what deal they offer! I'm moving as soon as my lease is up!!!

You are telling the truth. I moved in for the first time in 2001 with my mom. The apartments were very nice for the price back then. It was quiet, nice carpet, washer/dryer; everything you would expect and then some for $450/mo. We moved into a house and I decided that I wanted my own space so, I move back to Seven Gables in 2003. I wish I would have known that things had gone downhill. I expected to hear a moderate amount of noise; Simply because it is an apartment. I did not expect to hear my neighbors fighting constantly and I definitely did not expect to have my car vandalized. The last straw was when a fuse blew out and I realized that I was the lucky tenant that was supplying electricity to the porch light for everyone in my building. When I asked why I had to pay for the light, they told me that they had to have some way to run electricity to it, and it wasn???t costing me that much per month. I broke my lease.
