I had to move in a hurry last year. I applied and got this apartment without taking a tour because I was coming from out of state. I actually have had no problems being here. There are train tracks nearby so you hear the train blowing it's horn and yes my neighbor doesn't mind telling you that she plays her music LOUD, but I have learned to live with it. The people in my building mind their business and will say hi if you speak first. There aren't many kids in my building, nor "hood rats". I have been here for 14 months and I am getting along fine. I had read the reviews before moving here and was preparing for the worst. However, there are 2 sides of Somerset Glen. The property takes up both sides of Westover Hills Blvd. On the side I live on, it doesn't seem as rowdy and overcrowded as the other side. I have taken a drive or 2 across the street just to see the differences and believe me you CAN see the difference. It's up to you. The best thing to do when moving is to visit the place at night (on a Friday or Saturday), on a holiday, or during the time that school is out. This way you can really see what goes on.

You should always look at a place after hours to determine if you can live there!
