Where do you people live' From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/8/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I have lived in St Johns for almost 6 months now and have never had a problem. I agree that the maintence staff could be a little faster, but when my pilot light went out and we had no hot water the maintence guy came out at 9:30 on a sunday night and fixed it promptly. It seems when it is not an emergency the move slower. Also I have only recieved one of those "weekly" police notices and it was back in Feburary. I never hear gunshots and I have seen the security people out during the night. Most people know what it's like to live in the city and if you chose to live here you should know what to expect. Also I am a white girl and have never been harassed the way the other "White girls" have. Maybe if you don't try to cause problems with the other tenants by screaming at them for no reason no one would need to day anything to you.
