The Crossings at Short Pump Apartments

BEWARE - MOVE OUT COSTS $$$$$$$ From: moveoutwoes Date posted: 2/25/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   If you do choose to rent here (or probably any GSC community for that matter), leave your apartment EXACTLY as they delivered it to you. You WILL be charged for anything that is not exactly as you received it. Even for example, for not replacing the drip pans. Do not leave a cable screwed in to the wall. It costs $25 to have it unscrewed from the wall and the cable removed. (It is a touch expensive job). Our oven was used twice over the whole year and we were charge because it was dirty, despite cleaning the entire apartment to leave it as we found it. We have lived in at least 5 different complexes over the past 5 years up and down the east coast, and this is the first time we have ever incurred move out charges. We feel these costs are necessary and excessive, and the staff was not responsive (they were even down-right rude) in responding to our complaints. GSC is taking advantage of its residents with these charges, even so-called "preferred clients", so beware! If have not yet chosen to live here, DON'T.
