Nasty Tenants Tell Nasty Lies...

If you actually read the ramblings on this site from disgruntled tenants or the group of misfits known as the "River City Residents Association", you'll see that their biggest complaints are:

-Pet droppings (left by BAD TENANTS)
-Noisy neighbors (again, BAD TENANTS)
-Pet fees (that they agreed to pay, but don't like paying when they get caught)

But, that won't stop some morons from simply yapping away on an internet message board. Go look at the RCRA's website- They have a handful of members that consist of former tenants, EVICTED tenants, and soon to be ex-tenants. Yet, these losers spend their own time and money complaining about things that are CAUSED BY TENANTS!

Maybe they should "incorporate" the "River City I Hate My Fellow Tenant Association". They'd be just as successful.

Why does RCRE charge tenants a $200 non-refundable pet deposit and a $35 dollar pet fee (per month / per pet)?? Do the math, it'll cost you $70 per month to board 2 hamsters!? It certainly is not to provide for trash recepticles or cleaning staff to take care of the dog $hit in the hallways, elevators, stairwells or front of the building. If RCRE imposes this fee AND allows the number of pets in the building to outnumber the people... I'd say it is the responsiblity of MGMT... which of course suxs and takes zero responsibility for anything. However, they will take your money... avoid this hell hole.

Don't like it... DON'T SIGN. Sorry all the BAD TENANTS let thier animals s h i t all over the place, and sorry that you read, signed and agreed to the fees - but for the love of God quit your crying! Don't like it- LEAVE! I'm sure the courts will agree with you when you break your lease! Just tell him that RCRE are a bunch a meanines- what a novel concept! LOSER!

I agree with the post above. I didn't know that if I am a tenant here that I am supposed to do janitor duty to clean up the halls. Oh wait other apartment buildings clean their own halls? What a novel concept! Oh wait other leasing companies don't harass tenants? crazy...

$HITHEAD, I did leave...and never been happier! I'm just doing my best to let EVERYONE know your company sux and to avoid renting from you so they don't end up living in a hell hole, aka River City Properties...

I am not a tenant and have no affiliation with River City Real Estate--I received one email from Jennifer and one from Jonathon each telling me to call ASAP to set up an appointment. I called the minute the email came through but was told that none of the leasing agents were available. My 3 phone messages and 2 emails in a 2-day span requesting an appointment for a client to see properties were not returned. My client was appalled but thankful that we learned upfront what the management of this company is truly like. I will certainly never recommend a property managed by this company.

THIS POST IS OBVIOUSLY FROM AN EMPLOYEE FROM RCRE. Please stop calling tenants cry babies. many are new the city, trusting, young people who arent used to the way this city works here and you take full advantage of that. for the love of god? will see who really gets what they deserve

I agree, As i perspective Tenant I wouldn't rent from this company after hearing the unprofessionalism from the staff members. What you seem to forget is that these "Tenants" who are paying and agreeing to fees have a voice, and seeing as we have technology that voice is not longer just heard in the central area of the problem anymore. Non the less those "Cry babies", pay your bills and make your paycheck. So it would be who of you to wise up, and start acting more professional when it comes to customer complaints and responses "your get more fly with honey then you do with vinegar". On a second, note..I just left a apartment complex that had the same problem with unruly tenants who didn't clean up their animal mess. Its not the responsibility of the tenants to clean that, and having a young child i wouldn't want to run the chance of her putting that in here mouth. As a busienss owener heres a food for thought, "Its not the amount of money at the end of the month that makes the difference in a company, it's the amount of smiles on customer faces." I.E: Chick-Fil-A made a simple customer services adjustment before the fall of the economy and now their profits and Shares have almost Tripled.
