So, I love living here the ladies in the office are soo nice and understanding. However, i have a problem with the manager because he called my phone looking for my roommate(this is my personal cell phone) and possed as a richmond police officer to first try to say he had her car and then said that it was just a warning to not park in the handicaped spot. True parking in a handicaped spot when you aren't isn't good but it's not half as bad as commiting a federal offense to poss as a police officer. That is totally unwarrented and out of line. Especially to bother me on my day off and scare me half to death. Then, he closes facilities earlier then they are supposed to be and also never put pressure on contractors to finish repairs when there is no excuss. If you ask me...it's a total misuse of power in some ways and none in others.
I also have a bone to pick with the so called security guard who did not seem to be there when my girlfriend's car was broken into but he is sure there to harass us all the time.

i would say for the money you spend living there, you need to move to the west end. it's friendlier, cheaper and generally a better crowd altogehter. don't waste your time in places like the bottoom... the only thing the bottom is good for is flooding.

Re: baltimoregirl...I'd move AWAY from the "West End" for all the reasons you cite. I work in Glen Allen near Innsbrook...traffic is awful, restaurant options are limited (though not if "chains" are your thing), bar options are almost non-existant, and the entire area is being flooded with non-Americans who have young families. Rent, by the way, is every bit as expensive in many of the so-called "desirable" West End communities. Great for families...terrible for the single person
