Pros and Cons but overall A- rating

Pros: The ladies in the leasing office are wonderful - very friendly and willing to work with you on resident/leasing issues. The neighborhood is wonderful - starbucks, CVS, gas station, and grocery store right across the street. Ample lot and street parking and walking distance from bars and restaurants. Large apartments with exposed brick and beams, in apt laundry and dishwasher. Great Neighbors.
Cons: The buildings saw some water damage with the hurricane last summer, so there is a slight musty odor in the common areas. The exposed bricks look great in the apartment, but they tend to crumble easily, and any furniture within a foot of the wall will be covered in brick dust. There is still a lot of moisture and mildew/mold growth in the bricks - so be sure to check this out before moving in. Another big Con is the Mutant Roaches. I'm originally from DC, and maybe I'm just used to the smaller roach species, but the roaches in this building are gigantic. In DC we had Rats the size of cats, and Richmond (or this area of richmond) has Roaches the size of small bats. I've only seen 5 roaches in the time that I've lived here - and the office will send an exterminator upon request.
