Great option

I'm very happy with my choice to live here. I was attracted by the "one check pays it all" of Lofts at Canal Walk, but after a less than pleasant experience with their leasing staff, I'm glad I chose not to live there. River Lofts seemed overpriced, and more space than I needed.
Here, the staff is very attentive to the residents' needs. I have called in maintenance requests at 9AM, and they have been completed that day. The buildings are clean. It feels pretty safe. I have never encountered any problems walking to my car late at night, or coming home. Parking can be tough. As a young woman, the parking below the building on Canal is not ideal. I usually find parking on 26th. There is an abandoned building to the east Tobacco Row, and it makes the block intimidating, but also ensures there's usually parking available.
In short, I've had a great experience living here. My one an only complaint is that with my high ceilings, and small vents, the heat never seemed to work effectively throughout the winter. The apartment was always a little drafty.
