Living at Tobacco Row has probably been the WORST apartment experience I have ever had in my life. Sure, the place is convenient, but they are parasites for your money and the staff is very unhelpful. I remember my only request when I moved here (and I stated it a dozen times) was that I be put in a quieter area. They put me above the game room (open from 7am to 11pm). It's constant noise, and the residents, quite a few college students, go in there and turn the tvs all the way up, even at 2 and 3 in the morning (and yes, it sounds as if the tv is in the room with me). Sure, security will go tell people off for you....when they feel like it, but no one gets written up for being loud. Half the residents are college students who believe they can listen to music as if they're in a nightclub and you won't hear them. The migraines I have from one of my neighbors has me on constant pain medication, I don't get enough sleep between my neighbors and the game room noise, and if you live on the courtyard side, it acts as a huge echo chamber, so anything anyone whispers in the courtyard you can hear.
My windows are painted shut, there was a rat in my vents once, mold constantly grows in my bathroom fan (I have to have maintenance clean it every month), there is not enough parking for all the tenants so that's an extra 45$ fee, and the staff do alot of lip service, but ONLY lip service.
This place is far too expensive to bother living here and the staff will say anything to get you to want to stay here. It may be convenient, but this place is poison. It doesn't allow pets in all of the apartments and since the employees can enter your apartment at any time, things may disappear when you're not home (too many of my things already have).
Do NOT trust these people!

Ditto. Move out as soon as your lease is up. Just know in advance, they will screw you when you try to get your security deposit back.
