Counting down the days!

I have lived in the Timbers for 10 years now, and have witnessed the sharp decline of quality, customer relations, and standards in apartment appearance and management. Maybe it's not the site management's fault, but rather the reduction of funds necessary to properly maintain the facility. Timbers apartment living was once very plesant. I remember when management issued monthly newsletters with residents birthdays and even left a balloon, diet softdrink, pasta and a jar of sauce at your door on your birthday (I'm serious!). Now, it's difficult to the necessary attention to get a minor repair.
The newer management is also much more intrusive than any of the previous 2 or 3 owners. There seems to constantly be a reason someone other than my family has to enter while we're not home.
I believe what we are witnessing is the slow death of what was once a very nice experience. The Timbers will not be able to expect the amount of rent that was once paid (in yesterday's dollar value). In a few years, I expect to see something similar to Sunrise Apartments.
