I dont even know where to begin with the problems that I encountered at The Timbers. Biggest problem would be Maintenance! When I moved in, I noticed my carpet smell let urine in the walk-in closet. I was promised new carpet instead they came in and sprayed something that smelled like oranges to mask the smell. Next my fridge broke in the middle of the summer. I was promised a new one well that was over two years ago. I had to endure a freezer that was inadequate. The biggest problem was the heat. I didnt have any heat in January and I called emergency maintenance. I was told that it was late at night and there was nothing that could be done until morning. Well the maintenance lady didnt come the next morning and I had to call repeatedly. When she finally showed up she fixed some wires in the thermastat and left with major attitude. My air conditioner broke and it took them three weeks to replace the unit. I lived on the 3rd Floor and it was hotter than Hell! Three apartments in my building flooded in the middle of winter. The office staff and maintnenace ignored it until the Fire Department showed up and evacuated the building! The next problem would be the abundance of dog poo on the grounds. It was ridiculous!The trash compactor was always broken and trash was piled up everywhere. The appliances were old and out dated. My stove was probably made in the 80's. The rent that I paid at the Timbers; I now have a three story townhouse with updated appliances and an excellent maintenance staff. Dont be fooled by the location on Bon Air!
