I lived here from 1998-2000, mainly, b/c it was cheap. 500 including gas utilities and garbage p/u, the deposit was cheap. At the time it was a good first move out of the parents house...The first year wasn't too bad, the second year was not very good. The second year we moved in we got a neighbor who was very cool, but the ac in his apt didn't work and the sink was corroded. This sink was so bad you could see the layers of the sink all the way through it, at different widths...ick. His roomie actually took a swab to school...icky. The ac was out during the August month, and if you don't know August in Virginia tends to be very hot. It took about 2 wks for him to get his stuff fixed. Our AC tended to have leaks a lot...the carpet was sopping wet around the bathroom b/c of it. The windows were not air tight so the wind could come through. But the crime towards the end got to be a bit much. There were people in my hall smoking drugs, and when we brought it up to mgmnt they basically shrugged, and said oh well. The pizza guys just started not delivering b/c one of the their people got robbed in broad daylight...it sucked, we moved. not something i would recommend, unless it goes back to what it used to be pre 2000.
