I moved to Treehouse Apartments from out of state one year ago. I must say that alot of the negative reviews are correct. Crime here does occur often, the maintenance department is not very responsive, the staff, in the leasing office, can sometimes be incompetent, and the apartments, appliances,and fixtures are old. But, Treehouse is no worse than other rental communities in the area. There is crime, but the same type of things are occuring in other communities around here. The maintenance department is understaffed and forced to work with sub standard materials in old buildings. The staff in the leasing offices is ,once again, understaffed and deal with rude tenants all day. Unfortunately, a few dirty and horrible residents have made this community the place that it is. Don't get me wrong, I have dealt with the same problems as the other dissapointed tenants. But, these complaints are universal problems that most renters around the world deal with, they are just to a higher degree here. Treehouse is what you make it. If you want a gated, private community, with state of the art appliances, a maintenance staff with psychic like powers, that fix things before they break, and a leasing office staff that kisses your butt and serves Evian water, then move somewhere that provides that, for over $900/month for a 1 bedroom, but if you looking for cheap rent well you know the saying... "you get what you pay for".

I really thank you for this review. Its really honest and transparent. I'm due to move in on the 15th of Nov with my two children. And paln to be there for atleast a year. My previous landlords were really difficult so I pray that I can have better success here. Anyways,..thanks
