The community is nice, don't mind the screaming teens right behind the apartment building. I did have some problems with the fire alarm going off for no apparent reason in middle of the night, but they fixed that relatively quickly. Didn't mind not being able to get into my Apt because my front lock broke, because I had to two other doors. The management at the property itself was really nice. What I did have a problem with is them renewing my lease without giving me any notice. Not for a month, not for 3 months, but half a year. I do have a problem with that. I only found out when I went to go pay rent and they said I was short because I had paid the prorated amount because I thought it was my last month. That was unprofessional. When I went to coroporate to see what was going on the secretary was rude to me saying I had paid significantly less, when she in fact read the check wrong. Next the sent us a letter telling us we were late on rent, when it clearly states in our contract we had until the 5th to pay it. It was followed by a letter profusely appologizing for the mistake. When I went to go pay rent for that month they were rude to me again. No surprise, but I am deeply disappointed in their conduct towards me. I pay rent on time everymonth except for the one month they renewed my lease and didn't tell me. There is not need to be rude to someone turning in rent on time! I find them highly unprofessional and will never do bussiness with them again and strongly warn others from doing so.

I have to agree about the management and renewal policies of this company. The employees at the property (though MANY) have always been pleasant to deal with but the management company is another story entirely! The are just flat out rude and in NO WAY customer service oriented. Any time I mention this property management company to someone, it always elicits negative responses. I wish I had known this prior to dealing with them. I would highly reccomend against getting stuck with this company.

King Properties, are absolutely the most hideous people I have ever had to deal with. My credit rating is excellent, I have never, ever knowingly missed paying a bill in 34 years of adult life, but King Properties treated me like I was a criminal. They said they have to treat eveyone the same. Why would you want to treat a good tenant the same as a bad one??? That's not even good business. King Properties has ABSOLUTELY NO customer service, the manager refused to speak to me directly. Since my apartment was burglarized there were some issues at my bank, and although my rent check was received by King Properties a week before it was due, they did not inform me until a week AFTER it was due, that there was a problem. The eliminated the opportunity for me to correct the problem in a timely manner.
