Almost as entertaining as a circus

I've seen this place go from gorgeous and well-managed, to what it is now. I have first-handedly witnessed the manager showing prospective tenants the facility while carrying her three year old on her hip. How professional. Although she holds the title of manager, Puffy is the real one doing the bossing. And how can we forget Phage' As if that three ring circus act isn't enough, the maintenance is an absolute joke. The person who wrote about the "emergency" maintenance taking four hours to respond is absolutely right. I had the same experience, but with a leak. As you can guess, it wasn't pretty.
The pool was filthy ALL summer long with more bugs than you'd see at a Taco Bell in Mexico, and the water was discolored, but maintenance never once picked up a net and cleaned it like they were supposed to. It's pretty sad when you invite a friend over to swim, and as a guest, she begins cleaning the pool and asking who the manager is. And although they advertise that they have a jacuzzi, don't get your hopes up. There's ALWAYS something wrong with it and it's constantly "being repaired." It took from April until December to fix the problem this time. But as you live here, you just accept it as a norm.
What gets me the most irritated is exactly what was addressed in a previous comment. There is complete favoritism shown toward the children in this community. The staff's children can ride bikes in the tennis courts, swim alone in the pool at the age of eight while their mom is working in the office, and can literally climb on top of roofs. Your child, however, will be told that they are not allowed, you will be sent "fake" complaints, and will receive evil looks from the staff every time you're within view of each other. It should be a sin for my child to have to stay inside because he doesn't want to be friends with the staff's children. And if he does go out, they are always teamed up in big groups almost like an intimidation scheme, waiting to bully certain children.
