I lived here for 1 year. During that time, overall the stay was pleasant. However, the vacating process is terrible. You need to give them 60 days notice when moving out and you also are required to pay $60 to shampoo the carpets. Renting a shampooer and doing it yourself for $20-$25 is not an option. In addition to that I received a bill indicating that things were left broken and dirty. I am extremely clean and I know for a fact the apartment was in excellent condition when I left it. When I contacted the office (fyi...within 12 months has gone through 3 managers) they stated that the contracters they use to restore the apartments charge them and in return they charge the old tenant.
This is absolutely outrageous! They are operating a business, how could you not be prepared to finance an outside company to restore your apartments to re-rent them out' Don't get me wrong, I was very happy with the apartment but they're extrememly irrational and unrealistic when it comes to vacating. Make sure you do your walk through and take pictures of everything before you leave!

1st, when you get the carpets professionally cleaned, it gets out the dug in stains that a rug doctor is not going to get out. Every apartment community requires 60 days notice. The office has not gone through 3 managers. I personally know one of the leasing agents there and she said they have only gone through one. You don't know what you are talking about. What are you talking about financing an outside company? That apartment community is not going to eat the cost of the things that you decided you did not want to clean or left broken just because you don't want to get charged for them. They are a business, that would make them lose money. All I have to say is that if you lived at the property that I works at you would have drove me nuts. Get over it.

wow anonymous, I would have to conclude that you ARE one of the leasing agents. #1. no rarely do apartment communities charge the TENANT to pay for the carpets being cleaned - that is something that the workers there should do before someone rents the apartment again. I lived at Wilde Lake and loved it, especially the maintenence, but $60 for the carpets to be cleaned...come on

Thank you, done25. First of all when I moved in Sherri was the property manager, mid way through Faith and now Natalie so who is nuts here. Mind you I was only there for 12 months. Secondly, I did more than my part regarding restoring the apartment, call a lawyer they will gladly tell you that when a tenant is vacating the premises they are required to do a "sweep" of the apartment. Not saying that is what I did, but that is neither here nor there. I agree with done25 you are definitely a leasing agent or the manager. Let me give you a few words of advice...learn to be professionals, respond to calls in a timely manner, do not screen your calls at work (who does that?) and develop and implement a record keeping system. I am sure if you do these four things, Gabrielle in your corporate offices will no longer need to handle your problems. Whom by the way is extremely professional, polite, timely and responsive in tending to your requests and resolving them.
Have a lovely day!
