Nice Place but Be Warned of Rip-Off

Nice apartment but be prepared to be ripped off when you move out. The contract you sign says that you will pay $50 to have them professionally clean the carpets when you move out. But when my roommate and I moved out AFTER a walkthrough, they charged us $20 for dirty floors even though they were vacummed and cleaned AND we had paid $50 for them to get cleaned professionally! There were also small charges for "dirty cabinets" etc. which are all things we cleaned right in front of a leasing agent during the final walk-through. Making up false charges in complete ridiculous and the Lerner Corporation needs to step in! We're taking this to court because they cannot get away with it- even though it may only be $200, it's the principal of the matter. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
