I've lived at Glade Creek for only a few months and will be moving ASAP. The staff is as rude as they come (but, they seemed so nice when I moved in!). I constantly recieve rude phone calls and am left extremely un-professional voicemails on my cell phone.

Maitenance walks right in after knocking once (even when you say don't come in) and have seen me in my undergarmets on more than one occassion because of this. When this has happened rather than appologizing and quickly exiting they begin talking and going about their business while staring at me (as I scramble to cover myself).

The rent is over priced and they have no problems with tacking on as many extra fees as possible.

The office picks favorites and is especially disrespectful to attractive females (jealousy'). The Glade Creek drama is crazy and they will make sure to make your life unenjoyable if you are not on the top of their favorite list. This is not the kind of place where you can just live your life and not be bothered. At Glade Creek the staff is constantly in your business.

The grounds appear pretty from afar, but when you get close you realize that the staff refuses to pick up dog droppings that are all over the grass. Speaking of owning a pet while living there--its a nightmare. They will threaten you with eviction if your dog barks once.

I've had to call the police on multiple occassions because of pranksters at night. My complaints to the office go unnoticed.

Also, the gym is totally out of date and filled with old equipment. The two treadmills are ancient and there are no elyptical (spelling') machines.

Did you tell them to get out when they entered your apartment while you were unclothed? They may not have heard you say "Don't come in" when they knocked. Did you call management and complain? Worst case scenario- you could have called the police.

Did they come in during scheduled maintenence? Did you call and request maintenence? If yes to either of those questions, what were you doing walking around almost naked? There are certain times that maintenece does come in to the apartments, and this is posted on the monthly circular, as well as when you first sign your lease, this information is given to you. Also a notice goes out if there are inspections to be done in your building.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but i'm a resident, and considered very attractive. I have been asked more than once why I didn't go into modeling, instead of medicine. Management goes above and beyond the call of duty to make living here a great experience for me. Beauty changes over time. How people treat you is in direct response to how you treat them.

The gym that Glade Creek provides (free with your apartment) is not Gold's......but it's not a bad one either. Correct, there are no ELLIPTICAL (see? I'm pretty and yep, I can spell!!) machines, but there is a multistation work out area, as well as free weights, two bikes, two treadmills, and two stair steppers. Plus, two multi use flat benches, a jump rope, and a work out ball. Have you seen the gyms at Pebble Creek or Honeywood? This is a good gym, not like Gold's, but not a bad gym at all.

Hmmm. I looked at Sunscape Apartments, which are very similar in layout and ambience. Sunscape charges $15/month for a washer dryer, $15/month for vaulted ceilings, $15/month for a fireplace. Glade Creek provides the washer and dryer for free, charges $5 a month for the vaulted ceilings, $5 a month for a fireplace. Oh, and Sunscape charged (at the time, it was in October) $200 for the pleasure of reserving an apartment that you like, $200 security deposit, $300 pet deposit (but that last the pet deposit pretty much everyone charges).

I'm so sorry that you are having a bad experience at Glad Creek.

I live here, and have not had any problems with management, maintenence, or pranksters.

Maybe you should sublet your place and then move?

Good luck with your next place. I hope you find a nice, happy place to live.

I hated living at glade creek they are prejudice against younger people and that kevin thinks he is all that. My security deposit was equall to one months rent which was 813 that was unheard of. then when i got laid off they harassed me about the rent being late by a day give me a break they are so stupid

Hmmm whose Kevin? Don't know him. Maybe your credit isn't that good and that's why the security deposit was so high? If you can't pay the rent, that is really hard.........but still the complex has bills to pay as well. You did sign a lease and agree to pay that rent, right?

Just checking.
