I lived at Glade Creek for about a year and a half. The reason I left was the noise. These apartments are billed as "luxury", but the walls and floors were so thin I heard every little thing my neighbors did! The people below me would argue at night, and I could literally lay in bed and HEAR WHAT THEY WERE ARGUING ABOUT! Not to mention their TV (with surround sound, of course), their stereo, etc etc. Management at the time was not responsive to my complaints. Out of all the apartments I have lived in, this one was the worst for noise.
I will say, in the entire time I lived there, I never even MET the maintenance staff because nothing ever broke down! The appliances were almost brand-new, the heat/AC was fine, I had no major creepie-crawlies.
Watch out for extra fees tacked on when you move out! Make sure the math is right, especially if they pro-rate your last month. They called me and told me, weeks after I moved out, that I owed them more money for that last month, and that was a pain to sort out. That whole management group, at the time, was pretty young.
All in all, if you don't need quiet to sleep, this place is not a bad deal. I never felt unsafe there.
