Me and my boyfriend lived here in 2000 till 2001. Our apt was nice we kept it clean ect. We were on the second floor our neighbors were nice they were older all of them. But the upstairs ones were omg getto. After a few months we notice that in one section we were about the only ones going to work in our court. We could not understand why everone was up all nice caring on ect. Plus at the end we ended up having to park way out of the way from our apt because others in our court were throwing there getto parties. We informed the managers about this problem but they did nothing about it.One night at about 2:00 a.m a strung out girl from up stairs knocked on our door asking if we had a ciggratte.Come to find out we found out why everyone never went to work and partied all night long. None of them had to pay=rent they were all section-8. The managers never informed us of this when we were moving in I guess cause they figured we both had jobs good jobs so they could get the max from us. OH and also while we lived there a guy downstaairs died. One of the older persons living next to us reported that there was a dead smell coming from her air vents. Manament told her it prob was a dead animal. The guy had been ther for almost two weeks. He was not found till his girlfriend came by to look for him and another older person living next to us knocked on the door and knew he was dead after the smell then she called the police. Managemt never took care of this when it was reported. We finally moved out. When we did we got a letter from the company that manages the apt telling us we owed them 600.00 something for cleaning the apt ect. I am a obsessive house cleaner so I know that is not true. They said they had to replace the carpet becasue of smoke burns in one of the bedrooms which was there when we moved in. The notes for what had to be clean it was just B.S like cleaning the blinds,cleaning the tub,cleaning frig ect. that as they said came to 600.00 dollars. I cleaned the apt top to bottom befor we moved. All I can think of is either one of there fine section-8 clintes decied to come in and use it for a party room or the just wanted to screw over to hard working persons with a job"someone they knew had a little money that they could get something out of. So if you like living in the getto ,working all day while others lay-around and trash everything. Then get screw by a apt complex by managment becuase they know "YOU WORK" and they can get more out of you while they catter to the no-job having low-lifes then this is the place for you.Oh and by the way I lived in apt Number five to like the last post funny how fast things can go to hell. Oh and yeah they do have a pool but you can't enjoy it unless you are one of the yahoo getto's that live their and have nothing better to do but take everything over and make it unbearable for everyone other than you. If you are hard working you are going to get screwed this place just catiers to the low lives in roanoke not the hard works that pay there way. So be fair warned stay away from were if you work for a living. There are many other nice places in roanoke than this palce. Hey there are some real nice apts next to the hospital in salme right next to roanoke. We were going to move there befor we moved to Ky. The first thing we asked them was do you expect section-8 her words excatly "OHHH NOOOO.

well, i have a section 8 certificate and i work 40 hours a week so all people that have section 8 are not low lives. some of us are just as hard working as those without section 8. i bet if they gave you a voucher you would become a low life also just sitting around not working just because you could.
