I lived at Pebble Creek for over a year and just moved out a week ago after graduating from a local college. I would not recommend Pebble Creek Apartments. The people who work in the leasing office are unfriendly. I adopted a dog while I lived at Pebble Creek. They charge a $300 pet deposit, $200 of which is nonrefundable. They also tack on an extra $10 a month to your rent per pet. After paying all this money to keep your pet, it is frustrating to deal with an apartment complex that is not animal friendly! Do not live here if you have a dog unless you want lots of dirty looks when you take it out for walks. The rent is also very inflated for a moldy, dilapidated apartment that needs major updating. At Pebble Creek you share the gas bill with your whole building, so if someone is heat happy you end up paying for it.
On a more personal note the woman who lived below us was extremely unfriendly and constantly gave me dirty looks despite my best efforts to be friendly. She made a complaint to the leasing office and said I was running up and down my apartment with my dog. That is ridiculous! Who would do that'' To make maters worse I was not even home when she made this complaint. After receiving the complaint I rushed home only to find my dog asleep on the couch! Even though my dog was falsely accused the leasing office reminded me that after three complaints I had to get rid of my dog, even after paying over $300 for her to live there too! Another family in my building had at least 10 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. They seemed to just let more and more people move in and the leasing office did nothing, it was not for lack of them knowing because one of the leasing ladies lived in my building!
Do not live at Pebble Creek. It is overpriced and has a serious mold problem. There are many better alternatives in the Roanoke area.
