My husband and I lived at Pebble Creek from 2007-May 2008. We were incredibly dissatisfied with the unprofessional and attitude-prone staff, who acted like it was a chore to speak to us. Maintenance was CONSTANTLY coming into our apartment to change filters, change fixtures, inspect, etc...it got very annoying, and I felt like privacy was lost. They came into my apartment while I was in the shower one day! Another time, I came home from a weekend trip and maintenance had stopped by and turned my A/C on HIGH, but all of my windows were open!! We got a dog halfway through our lease, but unfortunately the apartment complex is not so dog friendly. Our neighbors below us constantly played loud music into the night, and there were 10 different people living in the apartment next to us. Our GPS was stolen out of our car while we lived there, and we had to set up a security camera to keep an eye on our car. There were jerks in our building that partked their cars in more than one spot, so occasionally we would have to park in front of the building NEXT to us. Pebble Creek staff did NOTHING despite our complaints about that. Now, we have moved on to a much better place, but we are not getting ANY of our security deposit back, and they think we owe them money!! They'll take you for anything they can get! If you choose to live there, don't expect anything back, including good customer service. We firmly believe that Pebble Creek is WAY overpriced for the poor value (the mildew on the walls, broken appliances, and smelly carpets)!! There are much better places to live in the Roanoke area. We were very happy to leave.

I FEEL YOU. I lived there for a little over a year..2006-2008. We had MOLD growing on our window sills and the toliet if the water was left standing for more than 2 days. NOT TO MENTION I found out from a neighbor who has lived there for a while and had a flood that they do not change the padding under the carpet. SICK. My now 2 year old, got ear infections all the time...AND was sick all the time. We moved in January, and he hasnt had one since. I think it was the mold in the carpet. IN FACT my toliet overflowed into the hallway and they didnt change the padding, it was gross..and THAT is when he kept getting ear infections and sick. HMMMM. They also said we owed them 500 dollars, so 300 out of pocket. They sent us a letter that if we didnt they would sue us for it. So, we ended up paying it. I told them I wouldnt pay it unless I had pictures and a statement from the carpet company.....My husband paid it anyway.

SO true. I had allergies and asthma terribly while living there, and if we went somewhere for the weekend, and finally once we moved, it cleared up completely. They also told us we owed that much money, and we said we wouldn't pay unless we get statements and paperwork, which they have yet to provide us.
