It's not always a bad thing

Ok, so admittedly the staff in the office isn't the brightest bulb in the box. And yes; it often takes a couple times of explaining your issue before they are able to understand. But I find I can often use this to my advantage:
I got my girlfriend a dog for christmas, the first time I went in and talked to them about my 'doggie deposit' I was given a $400 quote. The second time I went in and talked to them about it, I was given a $200 quote'I wrote my check on the spot!
About two years ago my girlfriend moved in with me and I wanted to add her to the lease. The first time I talked to them about it, I was given a litany of paperwork I had to turn in, blood samples (just kidding) etc etc. I left it for a month, and went back in as if I had never brought up the issue before. They gave me one sheet of paper to sign and that was it!
So, don't be so quick to be down on these dim-witted beauties, it could actually help you out one of these days!
