Brittany Commons Apartments

I've lived here since April 2003, started in Phase I with a terrific two bedroom, moved to Phase II to another wonderful two-bedroom with a view of the soccer field! Each apartment was very clean on move-in, everything worked as it should have and about as quiet as an apartment can be. I've found the office staff to be very accommodating and pleasant, especially given the high turn-over rate. Maintenance has always been more than competent, readily available (as per the severity of your need)and pleasant. No large problems with neighbors; nearly everyone has been reasonably quiet, especially during "quiet time." My only problem was with my newspaper being stolen from outside my front door, and resulted in cancelling my home delivery. I did report this to the front office, even though there's not much they could have done about it.
The grounds always look terrific, especially in the spring and summer. When I first moved here, the breezeways were blown out and cleaned each weekend, something I wish they would go back to. Parking is a little bit of a problem. We all have 2 spaces, but if you have three drivers living in one apartment - well, you do the math!
I do wish there had been security cameras installed in the breezeways when they built the complex, as well as dumbwaiters for the upper floors. Would have made moving much easier, as well as schlepping large, heavy shopping loads upstairs.
The rent increases have been reasonable. Face it, folks; if you owned your own house, you'd be screaming at the property tax increases everyone was hit with this spring.
I know I won't live here forever, but for the forseeable future, this is a pretty nice place to hang my hat.
