Aquia Terrace is one of the worst apartments I have ever lived in. I have only been there for a short time and already I dread the place. After only a few weeks of living there my vehicle got broken into causing a large amount of damage to my car. It turns out that there have been 4 car break ins since I have moved in. The children in the area are also a problem. I've caught them throwing rocks, riding there bikes between cars, and playing a game of "lets see who can jump over the most motorcycles". I would complain but the staff is very unfriendly and cold. They seem to show up for work just to get a pay check. I've even seen the maint. people just watch and laugh at kids when there were jumping over my brand new Harley. The rooms are small, walls thin, and enough military you might as well live in base housing. On the reverse, the civis that do live here are not what I would call the best of society. The only up side is there is plenty of parking and only a 15 minute drive to base. If you have the means to drive, look into Fredricksburg.

HOW DARE YOU KNOCK THE MILITARY THAT SERVE THIS COUNTRY AND FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT FOR YOU TO EVEN LIVE IN THOSE APARTMENTS OR EVEN OWN THAT DAMN BRAND NEW HARLEY DAVIDSON. WHY DON'T YOU LOOK TO MOVE SOUTH TO FREDERICKSBURG!!!!

OK, calm down civilian spouse or whatever you are. He/She is clearly in the military. They are saying that there are so many military, you might as well live on base...hence one of the perks of living off base...to get away from military. We're all one big happy family, but after working with each other, being on deployments together...its nice to get away from the military.

Clearly I am in the military. I fight for the right to enjoy some peace and quiet when I get off work. Not a horrible place to live. Like I said. The only good part to Aquia Terrace is it's a short drive to base.
