It's true everyone, don't let these lakewood people on here fool you. For one, USMCQuantico is right, and lakewood can be blacklisted. Another option is not only submitting your complaints to legal but submit them to base housing because they can take them off their referral list so Marines would no longer be referred there. It's a pretty simple process really. Also, I agree with LowesWorker. Everything they said is nothing but the truth! WOW, This site is crazy. I am moving to the area soon from TN and I am still looking for a place to live. I am reading all of your ratings and just by the looks of things this place is that bad? May I see the pics too just to see how things really are? You are a Marine wife too and so I think I can trust you when you say "Dont move here". Well, I was looking for something close because the base houseing office said there is a wait list so I guess we will have to look in Fredericksburg or something south of here. We really didn't want to go that far but I think it is turning in that direction for us. If you have any ideas for a NICE place to live and NOT in a bad area please let me know.
