I'm actually taking the time to let everytone know how bad this place is so you don't make the same mistake I have. I've live here at Lakewood for 9 months and that s 9 months too long. My wife's vehicle has been broke into twice, my neighbors car has been broken into and another neighbors car had it's tire's slashed. I've never lived in a worse place. To top it off, we have a sheriff that lives in our community and he hangs out with the drug addicts that live below us. My best friend lives across the hall. Well his air conditioner hasn't worked all summer. He went up to the office twice a week to complain and get it fixed. Well, 8 months later, they finally fix it and only offer 100 dollars off next months rent. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Come by; ask the tenants, they will tell you the same. I can't wait till my lease is over and get out of this mess.

Move out while you can and do not ever move here. This place has gone from hero to zero all because of a group of 3 ladies who make up the "management team" at Lakewood apartments. One of them is involved in relationships others and is married!! The rest of them are slow to help out unless they like you, or are "involved" with you. You should hear the dirty little mouth on one of them when she unleashed her inner feelings if you will to a "role model" of Stafford. (got the witness and proof on this one) It's all true. So sad these three. The other one thinks it's cool to bring her child to a party with alcohol outdoors after late hours. It's cool though, social services will have those pics and a complaint from someone that understands paranting Other then the messed up management, the place is ok. Maint, is cool. Hard working, and always on the job. I feel sorry for them that they have to work for such stupidity. For everyone else that lives there, get out, look for another place to live, don't people to move in for that whopping $100.00 off. Is that the best they can do'' Time will prove me right, and that is all I have to say.

It seems you have had some difficulties while you have lived at Lakewood. I have to wonder if you ever informed management of your issues?? You talk about the 3 ladies in the office and the things that they are doing that you find unacceptable. Do they still work at Lakewood?? I know there have been changes in management. The people you described do not sound like the same people that are in the office now. I have been here years. If there is a sherriff that lives at Lakewood that is involved with drug addicts did you ever think to report it to Stafford County?? Did you ever think he was trying to help those individuals?? No probably not. I see improvements happening at Lakewood. When I go to the office the staff is always nice and helpful. I guess I see what you don't. It sounds like someone made you mad now you want to get even. This is a nice place to live and I do recommend it. A longtime resident.
