My husband and I went apartment searching before he started TBS. We went to the Pointe because of it's high ratings on here. Needless to say we were very dissapointed. On our way to view the available unit we walked passed an old couch outside with beer bottles all around it. Right when we walked into the apartment it stunk of animals. The apartment was old and outdated. The closets were some sort of metal not even wood. The kitchen was ugly! There are much nicer apartments and townhomes for rent in the area that are not much further away. We ended up living at Bells Run Townhomes, which we love. It has a garage and a patio area, swimming pool, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Much more family oriented than the pointe. The pointe seemed to be like a college apt complex.

I am the Property Manager here at The Pointe at Stafford and have been for the last 4 years. You must have this community mixed up with another in the area. We have never had furniture sitting out in the community as stated and our community is made up of mostly military officers and TBS not college students. We offer a 30 day satisfaction that if you are not happy here for any reason in your first 30 days you can be released from your lease without penalty with a written 30 day notice and not once in my 4 years has this been utilized.

I lived in the Pointe at Stafford for a year and wasn't very impressed. Every single appliance in the kitchen had to be replaced because they were so old. It is not like they replaced them as soon as they stopped working, it took a couple of months. Also, the AC stopped working a few times and that was a mess too. My apartment also had a very strong smell of dog. Yes, the kitchens and bathrooms are very outdated, but that is what you pay for the price. I probably would have used the 30 day notice thing but thought we were only living there for 6 months and you have to move it all yourself, uhgg. The grounds were quiet and well taken care of. It wasn't like a college. There were mostly military families living there, so we had good neighbors.
