For military families, Sky Terrace is very close to the TBS side of base. This is nice. The "gates" that are supposed to keep people from coming in without a passcode are terrible. They are constantly being broken, because they are just wooden and people drive through them. However, the community itself and the people in it are nice. We feel safe here, and there is a great mix of people. Everyone we've come into contact with have been very nice. The kids seem to really enjoy themselves and are often playing outside (yes, in the streets a lot, but they've always seemed to move when a car is coming). The townhomes are a really good size, but once you are inside them you see that they use cheap particle board for the cabinets, cheap paint on the walls, etc. in order to make a profit. I really like having the alarm system. The price seems pretty high if you aren't on the Tax Rate Rent price, but you do get a lot of space for the money. I would recommend Sky Terrace. Not too crazy about the management or people in the office, though. The "business" center has a computer you can use - but only if you have an AOL account, the fax machine doesn't send faxes so you have to ask the people in the office to use theirs, and then there is a desk. Not really a business center if you ask me. Oh well.

Dont forget get office staff is horrible! They have no idea how to interact with the people that live here. Espically that manager... Whew talk about needing to get a stick out of your *@!
