Sky Terrace is a nice place to live. Just as in all neighborhoods, there are problems. Such as children roming the streets without parents, trash collection, maintenance crews (Delays). I have had minor problems with my townhome, and the management has always been courteous to my problems. The fix to the problem was not as expedient. If they would hire more staff members, such as handy men than residents would be a little happier. Granted, spoiled brats can never be happy, but it would definitely show that the management cares about our community. There is no where else in Northern VA, where you can find a nice place at such a price. I was reading some of the earlier comments, from former residents and obviously retaliation attempts from the staff. Some things are just not true. Such as, the rent going up 100 dollars every time you renew, I just renewed my lease and it only went up 10 dollars. As a small piece of advice to the staff, I would say not to respond to the negative listings, it shows poor taste and appears to be a little chidish. Instead respond to the positive or mediocre comments is a pleasent manner. You residents will gain a lot of respect and you can also show FUTURE reisdents that you are willing to discuss anything they might feel is important. So to wrap it all up, Sky Terrace is a comfortable and affordable place to live, but just remember the streets are not made from gold. Please take care of yourselves and someone else.
