For all of those that have negative opinions because that is what they are.

Have you ever thought about buying a house and wonder who the hell to complain too.

I have lived at Sky Terrace for the past two years and I think that it is a pretty good property.

If you have the time to read the paper you will see that the crime is happening all over Stafford.

This area is getting to over populated.

One word of advise to all the military people...

this is the really world so use your benfits and go live on post in those run down housing facilities.

I think that most of the people that have negative opinions may have been evicted or making the property what it is.

I think that some of the issues are totally out of the rental office control.

For example the lack of parenting and late night issues.

Just pick up the phone and call the police that is what they are here for, because the office cannot address crime.

The time you spend writing on this website as a concern resident, have you thought of ways to help our community like starting a "Neighborhood Watch" I would be glad to attend and put an effort to participate in that.

Its obvious that you have the time.

As too the office staff everytime I have communicated with they have always treated me with respect, maybe you are not one residents with too many issues or not paying your rent on time.

Actually many members of the community have spoke with the office about starting a neighborhood watch and the reply was that they could if they wanted but the office would have nothing to do with it and wouldn't support it. The office staff has also point blank said they would not address the people causing problems because "she was pregnant and was not going to endanger her unborn child." Well that's fine and dandy but then you should really go get a new job where taking care of the issues isn't included. I have never been late on my rent in 2 years, never had the police to our home, my children aren't out after dark, and generally we stick to ourselves. Just because one or two people think the only people who would complain are people who cause the trouble, does not make it so. Most of us are simply offering our opinion to prospective residents on what we have seen and what we wish we would have known before moving in.

It truly annoys me when people think that just because the military pays us to live out in town that we have all this money....and to your comment about being "the real world" NO CRAP!Being a service member is the hardest damn job! We are out risking our lives and you don't think that's the real world!?!?!...everyone doesn't want to be a paper pusher! It truly hurts me to see how disrespectful people can be towards our troops!

The really world? Im assuming you mean the real world. How about you learn to spell and type before posting an opinion full of mistakes. As for the military members not knowing about living in the real world....how often have you been shot at in order to protect your right to post illiterate opinions? the military provides your real world. And you obviously havent been on Quantico or Ft Belvoir lately if you think the housing is all run down.

It's funny that you talk about people taking the time to post negative comments on here but you yourself should be granted the time to post positive comnents. People should be entitled to whatever opinion they want. I live here only b/c we were rushed into moving here from CA (YES, we are military too) and I could not thoroughly check out all the places surrounding base. And, I find it truly ridiculous that you think the military doesn't live in the real world. I have lived in about 10 different rental properties across the United States b/c of the military. Have you? I have yet to find an office staff more incompetent and unprofessional than the staff here at Sky Terrace. I suppose if you are a part of the staff maybe you don't have a problem with them. I rarely talk to them and try to avoid it because they always seem to make me have to be rude....and I try to stay away so that I am not rude. I will most definitely be complaining to base housing about this property in hopes that something will be done!

Are they still hiring towing companies to come in the middle of the night to tow your car? That place sucks. It sucked two years ago when I lived there (Yes-military). I lived on Goose Pond and had shoot-outs in my back yard. The office staff was biggest ignorant group of people I ever met in my life and that damn gate is a JOKE! If you are considering moving ther-DON'T! If you live there- get out!

I dont understand how this place hates military so much... Hello you are right next to a base... If you didnt like us then why the hell are you working for us... Why dont you go and find a job that means something instead of making peoples lives misrable... Office ladies GET OUT!!

I'm really sick and tired of this crap as well. I have lived here for almost 9 months and have been disrespected so much, just for wanting maintenance issues that were there when we moved in, fixed. I was told that some of the stuff was flat out not going to get done. I've never paid my rent late, nor are my children out until all hours of the night. My husband has been to Iraq and almost died from a gunshot, so don't tell me that we don't live in teh real world. I'm sure a lot of us would buy houses just to get out of this place, but have you seen the cost of houses? The military doesn't give us that much money. The cheapest decent house we could find was over $300K. We can't afford that on an E-4's salary with two children. It's simply the office staff is lazy and doesn't care. When our AC went out, they never even told maintenance. They were simply too lazy to call to help us and I had two kids that suffered because of it. I don't have any trouble with maintenace once they find out that something needs to be fixed. I did tell the VA housing guy all the crap that goes on here with the office staff and their incompetance. That is one good thing that came about with that stupid inspection in November. I am tired of being talked to like I am stupid, like I am nothing, and treated like I mean nothing. If it wasn't for the majority of the military families that do live here, this place would be desolate. From what I've been told by others, every military family here hates it cause we are disrespected so badly. I am complaining to Housing on base about this place and they WILL get blacklisted. I'd like to see how much the population shrinks after that. lol
