I was searching the web and came across these website. I never seen so many rude and immature people in my life. If you have so much to say then why in the heck can't you put your real name and email, that way your concerns can be addressed. I see everyone complainting but too afraid to back up their own words. People grow up! I was reading one of the reviews and they were saying that all the office staff does is sit around and eat all day. Are you kidding me' When have you ever seen someone standing up working at their computer desk. Don't get mad because you don't have an office job or a job in general. Unless you are sitting in the rental office all day then you have no idea what anyone of them does. So here you are talking about not being able to trust someone, none of you can be trusted either based on the fact that you are talking behind someone back wather to their face. I can see it now you get online, bash your rental office staff and then walk in smiling in these peoples face asking for favors. I think my opinion about this rental property is clear, the office staff has to spent alot of time babysitting a bunch of grown ass kids with lack of common sense. Have any of you ever though about buying a house and not depending on others to please you' Maybe it time to invest your hard earn money. If you want repect you must earn/give respect. Anyone with complaints just put on your big boy/girl panties and go into the rental office to address them. That has always worked for me, if it doesn't there is upper management!!!!

Once again another person with lack of common sense. I guess I the answer to your stupid question...Have you ever had an office job yourself or a job in general? My god people if you are so unhappy why are you still living there. Move to another community, housing or use your hard earn income to buy a freakin house. Don't worry so much about other people and your life will be so much better. Trust me. You people have alot of time on your hands, may be if you get an office job you can see how much work you can "really" have. You are probably that one resident that comes in, smiling to their faces, and expects them to cater to you like a child. So that is probably why you don't put your name, because you are afraid that they will start treating differently.

Wow.
I was under the impression that this website was to be used for the critique of the community...not a determining factor for how much work the ladies and gentleman in the office have. Like I said in a former review...I think it is hilarious that you people have all of these complaints on this website and yet YOU STILL CHOOSE TO LIVE HERE. Why?
Walk around the neighborhood and check on things? Are you serious? Do adults live in this community or is this a zoo? Why should they have to walk around unless they are posting letters and checking for suspicious activity THAT IS REPORTED. I should really walk into Sky and ask the girls to take time out of their day trying to get all you military families qualified to live here just so they can walk around and babysit a bunch of random hoodlum children that roam the streets unsupervised while their parents are sleeping mid afternoon. Guys! Let's pull together as a team and get this property to operate in a more POSITIVE MANNER. I have already volunteered my help to the office staff with neighborhood watch....let's see how many of you follow...

As a former resident of Sky Terrace I would like to say that I am very happy since I have left. I had some of the same problems as the negative reviews have mentioned and that is why I chose to leave.
I never had problems with the kids in the area and the staff has no control over that aspect anyway. In the summertime the noise at night did increase but I imagine that happens in more than a few rental communities.
There are 2 assigned parking spaces for each townhouse and plenty of visitor parking. It is very close to shopping and the main highway and the schools nearby are wonderful. I think the price is right for the size and age of the townhomes.
The maintenance staff was always nice and very helpful and they even shoveled the snow from the sidewalks in the winter. Things in my apartment that were missing or broken never got fixed but I can't say it was the fault of the maintenance staff.
After considering all the factors of the community, I believe I would recommend living here, but not without warning. Although the staff seems to lack knowledge regarding tenancy we cannot blame them for trying to do thier job. I believe that the management company should be held responsible for hiring employees who lack the skills to deal with tenants professionally and courteously.
If you decide to move here, as with any other rental community, make sure that every single thing that is wrong with your home is written on the move-in sheet. And save a copy!
Good Luck!

The Sky Terrace staff IS very fat and lazy. The top manager sits around and eats KFC all day. Every time I go in there for help, it stinks like farts and old chicken.
