I moved in to Sky Terrace in 2005. I have had nothing but problems.

The alarm breaks like every day and it takes the alarm company a week to come by and fix it. So it beeps nonstop all day long, and if you unplugg it, it still beeps because of the backup battery. Numerous times Iv had the police at my door saying they got a alarm call when my alarm never even went off.

The gate breaks, but its not their fault, its the idiots driving into the place that can't remember their gate code.

I called in one day to inform them I was going to be getting orders to leave for boot camp and the lady told me that when I get my orders to bring them in and they would break my lease. Come to find out I was suppose to notify them as soon as I knew with a written note and that note was only good 30 days after I had given it to them. So therefore I was stuck paying 2 months rent when all my stuff was moved out.

The girl Ashley talks to you like you are stupid, iv never felt so disrespected in my life when she talks down to you and notifies you of ridiculous rules that she makes up herself.

My water bill has been like 90 bucks for the past 2 months that I havent lived there because I guess im responsible for paying for it until my lease is up...I notified them before I even moved out that there was a leak somewhere but it was never fixed.

Last summer me a/c broke like every other day so maitenence was always over at all hours of the night and day to fix it.

I got home late one night with a work truck that didnt have a parking decal on it and didnt even think my truck would be towed 2 hours later right before I had to get up for work the next morning so had to pay $150.00 to get it out of the impound lot.

My brother in law had a dog over for 1 night and of course ashley saw it and tried to stick us with a carpet treatment bill on our move out day.

Another time I put my rent in the drop box on the friday the 3rd and its due on the 5th and somehow they tried to get me with a late fee of $150.00 because they said I put it in on the evening of the 5th which is a sunday and they supposibly checked the box on saturday night before they left when and nothing was in there and then on Monday my check was in there...

OMG Why can't people just own up to their responsibilities? First of all if you don't want to have to pay a water bill then your best bet is to call the water company and have them turn the water off! DUH Second of all if you had a leak you should have gone to the water company also and see if the leak was their fault. I had the same problem and it was fixed by the water company. Third it would help if you have a relative with an animal visit you, the idea is to take the animal outside and not let them use the bathroom on your carpet then you wouldn't be charged with a carpet cleaning fee. Fourth and final if you had read your lease when you signed it you would have seen the clause about breaking your lease and what is required to do so. Lord just grow up and accept being an adult and the responsibility that comes with it.
