I went against all the bad reviews about this place and my husband and I moved in not too long ago and I already can't wait to move!!!! Those houses are nice but poorly taken care of. The maintenance does a half ass job when fixing things. Not to mention that when you put a work order in...they don't tell you when someone will be by to fix the problem because you clearly don't need to be home for them to just come in!! They have the passcodes for ALL the alarm systems and they have the power to just just them off or simply type in your passcode for the time being so they can come in when they please! I had some guy maintenance guy knock on my door to change my filter and after two very quick knocks and me not at the door soon enough, he was walking through my house to chance the filter!!! I put in another work order for another problem we had here and we left for a few hours, only to come back and see a paper on our counter saying the problem had been fixed while we were gone!! --------! I pay enough damn money to have some privacy! I don't know these people and despite the fact that it's thier job to fix stuff, that doesn't mean they're trustworthy! Of course though when you call to complain about it they tell you that they need to be able to get into the house for certain reasons. Don't bother trying to change the locks either. It goes against your lease. It's funny too because it never fails...every time we pull up at the office to pay rent or take care of something, at least 1-2 of the girls are standing out front smoking. Nice. If you have pets, don't even bother moving here! God forbid they find a pile off crap whether it be your dogs or not, they charge you $25 for every pile! That goes for cigarette butts too! You're not allowed to use sidewalk chalk or wash your car, even though YOU pay the water bill!!! Here you pay water, electricity, sewer, and garbage. Also, about that "security gate" out front. HA! What a joke! We haven't been here that long and it's been broken 3 times and you'd think they would try something else instead of a colored board but no. The only nice this about this place is the fact that it's close to TBS. THAT'S IT! Wow, I'm sorry for who ever posted the first response to this...they must be section 8 housing. Just so you know, don't ever disrespect the military "folk". If you have a problem with us then why don't you try joining for yourself, and putting yourself in the line of duty? Then you can tell us how we are!! I have to say also, I lived in Sky Terrace for two years..I agree with everything that this poster said. I have sat there and watched people just bring their dogs on walks in front of my townhome, and let them just poop there without picking it up. So don't be so quick to snap at someone if you have no idea who they are, and if it was their fault! Although I do agree, that whomever does have a dog needs to pick up after themselves! Oh, and read your lease Anonymous..it says that they HAVE TO give you at least one day notice before barging in your house. The maintenane team is somewhat prompt, or at least was when I was there..I say somewhat because it took them 3 days to fix the problem, unless I went to them directly not through the managment office. Yeah and it's not the military all out there having parties..lets talk about those section 8 people who stand out there all hours of the night having drinking parties, and their kids who just can't stay out of the road? And who make EVERY car move for them, not the other way around.

A lot of the information you have in here only further confirms the promptness of the maintenance team here.Of course they need access to your home when you put a work order in- that IS their permission to come into your home genius! You would think that your complaint would surround the team being slow and incompetant. Only you yourself are confirming that their team is quick to respond to maintenance issues. As far as piles of dog poop and cigarette butts...YOU must be the reason my front yard looks the way it does when I get home from work. Being that a) I do not smoke and b)I am not a pet owner- that is the ONLY explanation I can come up with. I happen to like the fact that they charge for disgusting slobs and their nasty habits. That is a surefire way for our neighborhood to look nice and presentable. It's only because some (not all) of you sloppy military folk come in here and completely trash the neighborhood with your little 11:00 p.m. beer drinking and cigarette smoking get togethers and your disgusting dog owner habits. So maybe YOU should've been the one to move to base housing.

Oh, how funny! You must be one of the ladies working in the office right? Them being the only people I could imagine that would defend a place like this and of course you would have the time to respond to this in between cigarette breaks! The half ass job remark on the maintenance was because when something went wrong in our house, their solution was to tap on the pipes with a screwdriver and it should fix the problem. SURPRISE! It's still broken! If they were any kind of professional, they would give you a time & date of when they could come and fix the problem in your home and not whenever it's good for them. It's pretty sad when I keep the chains on my door all day long in fear some moron is going to come walking in to change my filter. As far as the cigarettes and dog poop goes...we DON'T SMOKE AND WE DON'T HAVE A DOG and it's not OUR fault the yard looks like it does! It is the fault of careless people though who walk their dogs in my yard and walk by and throw cigarette butts in my front yard and how funny is it that a friend of mine witnessed one of the office ladies walking by her house and just happened to throw her cigarette out on the front lawn! So again, you tell me who's fault it is! I think it's pretty ------ of you to assume that all military families only get together to drink beer and smoke cigarettes when there are more apparent problems with this community then a few service members getting together to have a good time. Trashing the neighborhood? I think not. Maybe you should take the little 14 & 15 year old kids walking the streets at 10:00 at night into consideration because just last weekend I believe there was a few of them smashing glass in & around the dumpster! I think that should be the least of your worries but if you don't believe me, go read the rest of the reviews. Apperently I'm not the only one who feels this way! ;]
