We're a military family and have lived here for almost a year. I would definitely recommend Sky Terrace to TBS families - the back gate is literally right up the road and it's close to I-95 and shopping. Yes, the gate is always broken and there are kids that play in the street, but it's a nice enough place to live. If you want to pay a few hundred more you can go to Aventine but the drive to TBS is a lot further. I have friends there whose husbands stayed overnight at TBS because they were too exhausted at the end of a long day of training to drive all the way home. Believe me, if your husband is going into TBS the small complaints you may have about Sky Terrace aren't a big deal considering he'll get to sleep more and drive less.
