I recently moved to SK all of a week. Mallory was very nice and patient and explained things to detail. I never got the chance to view my unit as someone was living in it at the time. I will say my home was not properly prepared for my family and I. The toilet seats were full of piss, brown and very disguisting maintenance had apprently missed turning the bathrooms over properly. My stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer obviously were not pulled out and properly cleaned as you can see food all behind such appliances including the other tenants socks in the laundry area. In defense I will say once I made a service call to correct at least the dirty filter and all three toilet seats they were replaced within 3 days of reporting it. My apartment also had a major leak from the upstairs bathroom. The bathroom floor subflooring is very soft and you can tell where some boards are missing under the tile. The repair work is a grade c which I think could have been done better considering it is the ceiling of my living room. I won't complain though as long as it doesn't leak on me lol.....

Overall as for safety I think my street is very dark and could use another street light. I noticed that children play football in the streets which sucks I am sure their parents do not want to pay for the damage should it hit somones car. I also noticed that this same group of boys curse and have no repect at all. Children will be children I guess and I intend to SUPERVISE and look after mine should I allow them outside to play. I do worry about the neighboorhood. It is an obvious concern...... I have lived in Stafford for 6 years and never have I seen or lived around anything that the SK neighboorhood is surronded by. When I looked at the community it was in the daytime so I did not notice people walking on Onville Road the way they do with their children etc.... I will say I haven't lived there long enough to give enough input but after reading others comments I can see some of their concerns about the overall safety. I think the neighboorhood watch is a great thing and I look forward to hopefully joining it to help make my new neighboorhood safe for us all. Oh forgot to mention you will hear alot of helicopters, police and ambulance so be prepared.
